Broadway Bank is, in every sense of the word, all about caring for our community. We’re a community bank with deep, local roots. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to us that we give back to our neighborhoods and communities. We’re proud of our many employees who do just that, through our employee Care Corps program. The following is just a small sampling of our 1st quarter volunteer efforts.

Crossmen Marching Music eXtravaganz

Crossmen Marching Music eXtravaganza
On Friday, June 15th Broadway Bank Care Corps assisted with concessions sales and gate tickets at the Blossom Athletic Center for the Crossmen Marching Music eXtravaganza. Volunteers all had a great time and even had the opportunity to see the Crossmen Corps perform.

KLRN Blazing Gavels
On Wednesday, June 13th a large group of Broadway Bank volunteers met at the KLRN station located in the corner of Broadway and McCullough to help out with the Annual Blazing Gavels Auction.

2012 Corporate Cup Challenge

2012 Corporate Cup Challenge
On Saturday, June 2nd, Broadway Bank Care Corps participated and volunteered at the University of the Incarnate Word for the 2012 Corporate Cup Challenge. The Broadway Team came together and did their very best in each event. It was great to see the team spirit and everyone cheering on each other to victory.

Texas Folklife Festival

On Sunday, June 10th, Broadway Bank Care Corps volunteered at the Institute of Texan Cultures greeting visitors, taking tickets, tagging tots, and handing out the program schedule for the 41st Annual Texas Folklife Festival.

Military River Parade

Military River Parade
On Saturday, May 19th, Broadway Bank Care Corps Bankers was the proud sponsor for the 1st “Here’s to Our Heroes” Military River Parade on the San Antonio River Walk. The parade was dedicated to the men and women of the Armed Forces.

ADA Tour de Cure

ADA Tour de Cure
On Saturday, May 19th Broadway Bank Care Corps, family and friends assisted with The American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure event in Boerne. Volunteers helped with set up, registration, t-shirts, and manned a rest stop along the route. The rest stop was rocking and decorated in a Tiki Lounge theme. The bus was there and was used to play Luau music to welcome the riders to the first rest stop. Volunteers wearing leis and Hawaiian shirts over the Care Corps shirts greeted the riders as they came into the rest stop.
