Campaign Benefiting Charities San Antonio, Texas, December 3, 2012 — Broadway Bank recently launched a holiday-giving social media campaign in partnership with several community-based charities to boost contributions during the holiday season. In the spirit of giving and during a time when the services of non-profit organizations are in great need, Broadway Bank will donate up to $15,000 to five charitable organizations — San Antonio Food Bank, Capital Area Food Bank, Communities in Schools San Antonio, The Children’s Shelter, The Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas. The Stuff the Sleigh campaign contributes $1 to the selected charity for every Broadway Bank Facebook “like” received during the promotion period. Donations will be based on the total number of “likes” up to $15,000 and equally distributed. The social media campaign runs Thursday, November 29, 2012 and ends Friday, December 21, 2012. “Charities can really use the extra boost during this time of year and we’re pleased to support these fine organizations that do so much for our communities,” said Jim Goudge, chairman and CEO of Broadway Bank. “Every dollar counts in a big way.” For just one dollar, the San Antonio Food Bank can provide seven individual meals. The Capital Area Food Bank assists more than 300,000 households, 41% of whom are children. The dollars contributed also help 34,000 children with their necessary school supplies through Communities in Schools San Antonio, and The Girls Scouts of Southwest Texas help girls across the area gain confidence and leadership skills. By giving back to our own communities through charitable donations and volunteerism, we enrich our lives and those of our friends and neighbors. Broadway Bank is glad to do our share. Show your support by posting and tweeting about Stuff the Sleigh through your Facebook and Twitter. About Broadway Bank |
