Workforce Solutions Alamo
Broadway Bank was honored by Workforce Solutions Alamo at the Greater SA Chamber of Commerce CEO Luncheon. Jim Goudge accepted the award recognizing the bank's commitment to developing the local workforce and providing career opportunities. The award is the result of the "Young Adult Education Program", which the Bank participated in this summer under the guidance of Carlos Torres, vice president, Monda Hardin, assistant vice president and Brenda Vargas from the HR department.
Broadway has also been invited to accept the 2009 Employer Award of Excellend at the Texas Workforce Commission's 13th Annual Workforce Conferenct in Dallas, Texas.

category, competing against other similar banks in the $1 billion to $5 billion total asset

Broadway Bank Surpasses $2 Billion in Total Assets
The Board of Directors and executive leadership of Broadway Bank recently announced that the bank surpassed
$2 billion in asset size. Compared to second-quarter 2008, assets have risen by $264 million. The increase has been driven by deposits, which grew by $140 million during the first half of this year and were up by 20% over the prior year. Broadway Bank continues to be strongly capitalized and a safe haven for depositors looking to preserve and manage their wealth.

Broadway Bank, together with Communities In Schools of San Antonio, announced today the kick-off event for Broadway Bank’s Project Stuff the Bus. The launch will include commentaries from Broadway Bank, Communities in Schools, South San Antonio Independent School District representatives, and local dignitaries. The South San Antonio
High School area student band and cheerleaders will perform—along with food, fun, and the premier of the new Broadway Bank Stuff the Bus vehicle. The kickoff is scheduled for Wednesday, February 4, at 12 Noon at the Broadway Bank Cheever Building located at 1045 Cheever Blvd., adjacent to the Bank’s San Antonio headquarters.
