New Online Security Feature – Steps for Registering Your Computer
In addition to Broadway Bank’s recently launched new online banking and its convenient features – we are introducing a new security feature. This feature will provide an additional layer of security in order to prevent fraud and identity theft, while banking online. This simply means you will have the option of registering your computer as a recognized, authorized device for accessing your account information through online banking.
Initiation of this new security feature will take place in the next few weeks. You will know this feature has been enabled when—upon logging in—you are prompted to register your computer.
When you are prompted to “Register This Computer”, you will be directed to a page displaying the secure contact information we have on file for your account.
- Choose the method to receive your secure access code (phone, text message or email).

- Enter the secure access code you receive.

- Select one of the following:
- Register this computer for later use – a logical option for a home computer or personal
laptop. Not recommended for use with public computers (at a hotel, library, etc.).
OR
- Give me one-time access only (do not activate this computer) – a logical option when
using a public computer.

NOTE: If you use multiple computers to access Online Banking, you will need to complete this
process for each computer. When registering your computer for later use, a secure access token is
placed on the computer in the form of a “cookie”. If the cookie is deleted, this registration process
must be repeated
