Making a difference!
BROADWAY BANKS CARE CORPS
With caring hearts and an abundance of
enthusiasm, Broadway Bank Care Corps
lends a collective hand and heeds the call to
service in the community. In 2013, Care Corps
reached out to many areas where an extra
hand changed the lives of those most in
need in the Alamo City and the surrounding
communities. Together, Care Corps mentored
local youth, shared financial expertise with
organizations and helped low-income families,
by picking up a hammer to build their homes
or by adopting them for the holidays.
Fueled by the culture of giving that is
unique to Broadway Bank, Care Corps
volunteered at local food banks,
provided much-needed services for
seniors, tutored and mentored at-risk
youth and answered many other calls
for service. Care Corps is always looking for ways to give back
to the community, confident that working together with
charitable organizations and building up the lives of those
around us, the local community is a better place. That is
why in 2013, 56% of Broadway Bank employees worked
together to benefit 130 charitable projects. Altogether,
that’s 10,557 hours these employees donated of their
valuable time, at a dollar value of $233,732!
